Recently in a joint collaboration with Simple Retail, MedAdvisor implemented a new integration with the Simple Aquarius dispense system. This will come in the form of a new update to PlusOne and an update to Simple Aquarius that has also been rolled out recently.
In order for this new version of PlusOne to work smoothly with this new integration method, you must locate and run the Simple Aquarius Packserver on your Simple Aquarius dispense server.
This Packserver program is located on your Server’s C: drive, in the “Aquarius” folder. In there you will find a file called “packserver.exe”
To make it easier to locate this program in the future, you may wish to send a shortcut to it from the desktop, you can do this by right clicking on the packserver, selecting “Send to” and clicking “Desktop (create shortcut)”
Alternatively, you may also copy this shortcut into the “Startup” folder from your start menu if you wish for the Packserver to start up when you turn the server PC on.
You will then need to launch the Packserver program by double clicking on it, once it’s all up and running you will be presented with a screen that looks like this:
“Server Active” will display to indicate that the Packserver is now running. Later this screen will update as PlusOne requests data out of the dispense system during normal operation.
